About Me
Patrece, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, always had a passion for entertaining and singing, whenever she entered a room. After moving to Florida with her family at the age of 9, she became a "choir kid" throughout middle and high school. At 15, she began private vocal lessons, which further fueled her love for singing. She carried this passion into her college career at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where she majored in vocal performance with a focus on classical training.
Struggling with self-doubt and anxiety, Patrece changed her major to business administration at the eleventh hour, graduating with a BS in business administration. But after 12 years in Corporate America, her passion was reignited in the face of adversity, along with newfound confidence and stronger faith. Three months later, she was hired as a performer at Universal Studios Orlando and never looked back.
Patrece has graced stages at Orlando's Disney World, multiple theaters and playhouses, and participated in short film projects, various commercials, and film and TV opportunities. Despite these diverse career opportunities, one of her greatest joys is coaching from a vocal and performance perspective.
In 2024, Patrece launched her performance coaching business, VocalElevation, dedicated to helping performers and vocalists fine-tune and maximize their sound using a healthier approach. She aims to build their confidence, establish their stage presence, and overall elevate their performance, whether it be vocally or from an actor's perspective in storytelling.
Patrece currently resides in Central Florida, where she continues to perform full-time and coach. She enjoys the unwavering love and support of her family and friends.
